Why we need holidays

It is going to be the holiday season soon. Hurrah!

Holidays and festivity just somehow go together and we don’t care about all the HOWs and WHYs. What we care about is HOLIDAYS! And,, oh, Festivity. Celebrations. Yaay.

With Celebrations, comes, lights and decorations and ornaments and that entire gimcrack that we do all look forward to, and that’s no joke after all. In our busy lives we seldom get the time to recreate and relax, holidays give us that.

Work, work and work leave little time for vacation and party which is why we crave them so bad. Therefore, when we finally get those holidays we have all been yearning for, they come off as a relief and most probably the much needed and anticipated therapy of the month. Festivals come and go but Christmas and Easter, inclusive of weddings, are permanent.

As Easter leaves, we have yet another season to prepare for. After we all are done with the semester madness and this one winds up, we will all surely be heading homes glowing with fervor as we will prepare our schedules for the long holidays ahead of us.

Some of us will leave town while others visit foreign countries and their attractions while some may go on city tours or road trips. Some of us will be doing summer jobs while others may be taking courses relevant to their degree and some may pursue their career.

Meanwhile, where we all get together will always be the few festivals and ceremonies that we conduct. This practice has become a source of boosted merriment in the present day as we now rarely see some of us… and what makes our events more jouvial are the beautiful lightings that illuminate the big day.

As many tensions as the organizing process may carry, lighting is no longer a headache as there are a lot of holiday lighting business startups and LED c9 bulb suppliers and others that make life easier.
